10/7-10/10: Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week (Students can dress in theme to help celebrate. Please see below for daily themes).
10/7-10/25: Parent Conferences *Info coming ASAP for these!*
10/10: Vision and Hearing Screening on campus
10/11-10/15: NO SCHOOL-Fall Break
10/16: Picture Day is HERE! (Students may dress semi formal /formal or follow CISD dress code)
10/16: 4th grade Field trip to BASS Hall

Reading: I can recognize characteristics of fiction: describe character traits, identify the meaning of figurative language. 2 Assessments this week: One QC for district information (10/8), and one for unit 2 ending assessment (10/10).
Phonics: I can read and spell vowel team syllable types: Long I
Math: I will explore place value.
Science: Objects and motion.
Social Studies: People who helped shape our communities.

Every day we check students folders to collect homework and write any behavior notes from the day. This helps hold students accountable for their work and choices at school, while practicing responsibility of bringing the folder to and from school each day. We need you to check for homework and behavior notes every night and initial the day's box, regardless if they have a note or not. THANK YOU :)
Free/Reduced Lunch link!! *Update according to Schoolwide newsletter: Parents, please be advised that if your family qualifies for Free and Reduced Lunch last year, but have not completed a lunch application for the 2024-2025 school year, your child's lunch account will begin to accrue fees.Â
